Knows its been awhile but I finally have some stuff to share. Thanks for waiting. 

TLDR update coming out early February with new stuff including new endings.

So what are some of these new things?  One of the things that I wanted to do originally was music. The reason I didn't have music and sound effects originally was because 1. I can't do it 2. I don't want to deal with the legal stuff. Thankfully I was able to find some royalty free music on DOVA-SYNDROME. Hopefully this helps adds to the asthenosphere of game making even a bit more enjoyable.

Next, I made some changes to the UI and more importantly added some accessibility settings. These settings change things like the font, change the way shake works (basically when the screen would shake) and text to speech. I wanted to this but also had little experience with Ren'py. Thankfully I found a template (https://tofurocks.itch.io/renpy-gui-template) that had some of these features. Unfortunately I already started with the project so couldn't really use the template as a base. I tried to just put some of the code into it but it was quite working that way I want it to. I put that on hold until now.

Finally, new endings. While writing the original story (and even after that) I thought of some other interesting ideas how the story could go.  Couldn't really write up that story because I was already pretty much done but I kept them on note if I ever wanted to actually do them. Which I did. I won't spoil any of them but know that there's 1 new ending for each of them. They're not hard to get. If you played the game already and see a new option you'll know what to do.

That's all for the update but before I go I still a couple of things to say.

There will be no new additional art assets added into the game. There 2 reasons. 1. The original sprites were made 2 months ago and I feel my art style while not drastically but enough that I wouldn't be able to do it without redoing all of them. (which I might have if not for reason 2) 2. I want to work on future games. Literally between 2 months ago and now I have at 6 story ideas in my notes (all being a varied levels of details and thought being put into) and would really like to work on them (not all but at least 1). Honestly, I could have just announced that I wasn't gonna do the update but I really wanted not only for the people who enjoyed but also for myself. So with that being said...

This update will be the first and last update for Fireplace (besides any bug fixes and grammar corrections that I might fix later on).
